It is crunch time in the garden to prepare for the coming spring pruning is well down the track and we are now looking to plantings of perennials for colour and life in the garden. This season has seen 2 dozen new roses go into beds, some replacing old roses that have not flourished, but others to give a highlight of colour.
Amazingly already bulbs are well on the way with foliage thrusting through the soil looking for sunlight.
Our walks are being considered as major access points through the garden and trying to offer textural change throughout.
For the first time we also have a small private wedding ceremony out of the blue a couple approached Blenheim and asked if it could be possible. We are very pleased that the garden means that much to them..
