The spinklers are on and watering as the key activity in January with the onset of dry weather. The internal lawns are holding their own at present and whilst the roses have been dead headed there will be another a bloom Mid to late February.
The fruit is ripening and bountiful although there are not so many apricots this year for bottling and jam making.
There is still a lot of colour in the garden here and by dead heading and concentrating over the past few years on the latter part of the season I am pleased with the results. The hydrangeas are always much admired and there are still the asters and nerines to come.
