Spring  Blenheim Garden November

10 to 4 pm  Entry @ $8 pp.

Such a splendid Spring garden season with the most lush growth and all plants looking extremely healthy.  Large rose buds are forming and it is hoped that they will burst into colour in a couple of weeks time for our Open Garden on Saturday 10 November which is timed for those travelling to Gardenfest at Entally.  Our flowering season is a week behind Longford and two weeks behind Launceston surprisingly enough.

The flowering of the hawthorns, no matter which year always are at their best on the 26th October.

Iris and lavender are certainly in bloom now, rugosas are showing their colour and the structure or the garden with the crab apples and Fuji flowering cherries are presently in flower.

Our garden groups are rolling in and it is a real treat to share the garden with people from Sydney

Flinders Victoria and those from further a field.  They are also enjoying the current exhibition in the Gallery space Clay and Glass Stories which profiles four artist’s works in clay and glass which are produced by prominent Tasmania artists.  See our Clay and Glass Stories journal entry for the artists.

Local garden clubs are also seeking spots to visit.
