Blenheim Gallery and Garden
Spring has arrived early at Blenheim Garden this year and everything is bursting with fresh foliage, beautiful blossom and the magnolia’s and daffodils are looking exceptionally healthy.
The rows of daffodils I think have emerged a good ten days earlier than other years even though our out earlier.
The beds are being mulched and the two new beds for this year under the cherry plum trees are starting to take shape along the walkway to the south west towards the gallery. The daffodil bulbs have been fabulous and still are hanging on at the end of September.
Ian Parry’s September exhibition was wonderful and the works just glowed on the walls for the duration of the show. Ian has exhibited for 47 years both in Victoria and Tasmania and his understanding of colour, balance and the evocative abstracted shapes form beautiful paintings.
Ian’s catalogue is below for you to view as well.
We still have some works in stock for those who missed the show and would like to catch up with his recent paintings.
