Bay of Fires Art Award

Communities have to be commended for hosting major art prizes, not an easy project but done well and in the case of Bay of Fires Art Award it is also of Festival of Arts each June in Tasmania at St Helens.

Congratulations to Bay of Fires Art Prize artists from Blenheim Gallery. A great presentation of your works by David Marsden, Wayne Z Hudson, Penny Mason, Chee Yong and Anita Denholm.

Also a lively little picture by Leigh Rigozzi "Afternoon Tea Trees", held its own on a long wall which shared equal prize of $10,000 each with Genevieve de Couvreur.
