Finalist Women’s Art Prize

Blenheim Gallery is very pleased and congratulates sculptor / artist Anita Denholm who has been announced as a Finalist in this year’s Women’s Art Prize.

Regular followers of Blenheim Gallery and Garden would have viewed Anita’s works from paintings, drawings and sculptures of small and enormous scale over a number of years.

Her works in granite are quite exceptional and carved with such precision for such large works. In Blenheim Gallery stockroom currently there are some figurative wirework pieces and small stone sculptures.

The amazing “ The Gaze” 2023, Granite, 180 x 100 x 100 cm is currently on display in the sculpture garden. This work is a companion piece to a work commissioned for the foreshore at St Helens.

Anita is also currently working on another East Coast commission for a private client.
