Carlton is having some interstate success and spreading further by participating in exhibitions.

He has been selected as a finalist in their $20,000 Small Scale Art Award for 2025.” It’s a great privilege to be selected from 800 applications from national and international artists”, says Carlton.

'Fortitude valley' 300 x 390mm was selected for this show.

He is also in ‘Boundaries’ which is a selected exhibition of Australian printmakers- Exploring the Edges at Tiliqua Tiliqua in Sydney. The image chosen was ‘Southerly view atop of Bryon Lighthouse’ linocut for this exhibition.

Earlier this yearCarlton also exhibited linocuts were selected for ‘Soul’ at SOL Gallery, Fitzroy, Melbourne, and ‘Habitat’ printmaker exhibition, West Gallery, Belconnen, Canberra.
